The concept behind BOOMERS, an all-new music show, stems from the yearning to merge the old with the new. It is a celebration of the Maltese music industry whereby veteran and contemporary artists come together to produce a dynamic fusion of music through interactions between artists coming from different genres, ages, and backgrounds.
The showʼs basic premise is that the golden generation of Maltese singers get to interact and collaborate, by working on cover versions of Maltaʼs foremost current bandsʼ original songs. The covers are musically re-arranged, re-produced, and mastered by one of Maltaʼs leading recording studios, Litoʼs Place. The show documents the entire process, giving the televiewers an authentic music production experience.
